Hi, I’m Katie and I am here to help you go from Mindlessness to Mindfulness

As a seasoned Yoga teacher and Mindset coach, I noticed that all the Mindfulness jargon makes it seem more time-consuming than it is.

So I make things easy to digest. I feed you bit-size info on techniques, and neuroscience and concentrate on tools that work.

I also use all of the tools I share from my own healing journey and many others, so I have been able to experiment over the years. 

The tactics, techniques and strategy are exactly what I use with my 1:1 clients, and in my own life.

These are the same strategies that saw one of my clients’ quit smoking, lose 30 lbs, create a consistent yoga and meditation practice that was once never there, and feel more grounded in life.

But I also know what it is like not to feel so grounded. I wasn’t always on this mindful path. Quite the opposite.

Not so long ago my reality was full of stress, anxiety, depression, addiction and avoidance. It looked like I was fine on the outside, but on the inside, I was inflamed. Literally and figuratively.

Unsatisfied at work, overweight, relationship issues to IBS - I was burnt out with a dysregulated nervous system but I had no awareness.

Trust me when I say this - I get it.

Even when I felt like I tried all the diets. All the exercises. Broke up with that toxic person. Applied for better jobs. Went on an amazing holiday and started eating clean…I still didn't feel good. 

It was because I was going about it all backwards. 

I had to start from the inside and refocus my attention.

In 2014, I found myself all alone in a foreign country with no money and nowhere to go but a seven-day silent meditation retreat.

It was here that through incredible darkness, I finally found a new way of dealing with all the stressors in my life.

A daily mindfulness practice. 

I aim to share my knowledge with my clients, whether you need help expanding time, de-stressing or are looking to build better boundaries, relationships and or self-compassion. 

Mindfulness is the starting point.

I am on a quest to solve symptoms of feeling overworked, overtired, overstressed and overstimulated so that you can live a life of choice and intention rather than reaction and distractions.
