I’ve been studying my dog

To be better at something,
you study the subject
So to be a better human,

I believe it's important not only
to study humans
but nature and animals.

Particularly your own pets
After all, they are just an extension
of your own energy.

Some of you may know
I have a 2 year old
Miniature Bull Terrier named Shark

and I love her existence.
I know she has a lot to teach me
so I study her everyday.

Thanks to COVID
I have a lot more time
and this is what I've learned from my dog...

  1. Drink lots of water

  2. Exercise is very important

  3. All treats come when you just "sit"

  4. Stay alert, aware and sniff out everything

  5. There are no regrets or bad decisions in life

  6. You are a lot smarter than people think

  7. Stay hungry and don't waste your food

  8. Never stop looking up, you never know when something will fall

  9. Get really excited about the small things in life

  10. Never take for granted someone coming home

  11. Stay focused because you weren't designed to multitask

  12. If you want anything in life, no matter big it is and small you are, all you need is patience, persistence, and tenacity

  13. If you feel something, it is only natural to express it so let it out -even if it's loud and annoying to the neighbours

  14. The more you drop judgement and love unconditionally the more people will return it

  15. Be here now because what exactly is this past and future thing you humans talk about?

These unconditionally loving creatures have mastered the art of Mindfulness. Staying present, moment to moment without judgement.
